Best way to take pictures of Hair Removed.

Can anybody tell me the best way to take pictures of my hair removal progress? I have about a 6 mega Pix camera but it’s hard to get a good close up view, and considering the amount of white hairs I have on my face it’s almost useless. Any ideas?

It really depends on how good you want that image to be but since you ask, and I suspect you are interested in digital, you will only be able to get very close, maintaining focus, with a DSLR and a macro lens and proper lighting which might force you to get a ring flash.

there is usually a setting for close-up pictures on digital cameras. i have one on my canon.

Try opening the photo in your browser instead of the camera software. You should find the photo is enormous and shows more detail.

I would agree, the picture of the single hair with the gold probe inserted on it in the picture section was taken with a 5.4 MegaPixel camera and then cropped down to that one section after blowing up the enlargement in the regular picture viewer. You would be surprised at what someone who knows how can do with the pictures you already have taken.

That close up was not even taken with Digital Zoom.

Hi MorganPerry,

I have a 7 megapixel digital camera… I usually take pictures during the day when its really bright. I stand near a window so I can avoid a flash. Then I zoom in, & streatch my hands as fas as I can & then take many pictures. Then delete the ones that have not come out well…

Thanks,
June

I wish I knew, I had a couple pictures left on a disposable film roll so I took a few of of my hair. I couldn’t even tell if I had any hair it was so blurry and crappy. Dahh wish I wouldn’t of lost my 350 dollar camera!
