I had an electrolysis session done on my neck and it swelled up for about a week and then went down but now there is a little bump that has not dissappeared. Has anyone had this happen before to them? Did the bump go away? I trust my electrologist and have had many sessions done by her but this is the first time this has happened.
Tea Tree Oil that bump overnight, and it will soon be forgotten.
Since I have no idea what kind of “bump” you have had, I would hesitate to recommend applying a topical to it. It could be a pimple, or it could be something else. Have you shown this “bump” to the electrologist? The most common sense thing to do is to have your electrologist look at it. Let your treating electrologist tell you what to do with this bump.
could be an ingrown as well. i would show to the electrologist as well. it’s very hard to figure out what it is by your description only over the internet.
It is a small bump and is the same color as my skin. There is no hair in that area so im sure its not an ingrown. Last time I went to my electrologist I didnt mention it because I didnt think much of it but I will definetly ask her next time I see her.
Tea Tree Oil dissolves necrotic tissue, and puss, but the worst it does to living skin is increase the natural shedding process. Therefore, it would not cause damage to healthy living skin, while hastening the removal of abnormal skin, dead skin causing immune reactions, and so on.
Thank you for your hep and advice. I am going to see my electrologist this week and ask her about it.
