Can you get your whole back done?

I originally posted in the laser hair removal forum however was told that my hair isnt thick enough for laser and I’d risk increased growth.

I’ve done a little research on eletrolysis and pretty much everywhere I read mentions upper lip, chin, neck etc never any significant area.

I realise it would be expensive and take a while but also on the back you wouldnt need to get all the really fine hairs just the obvious noticeable ones.

Of course you can but, yes, it’s “expensive.”

An easy rule of thumb to compute cost: The area of your hand (on the average back), fully completed by electrolysis, will cost about $100. So, the easy way to “guess-timate” … just count up the “hands” you want done and there’s your (fairly close to) estimate.

For example, it looks like “six hands” on your one shoulder (dense growth). Good luck …

These days I mainly treat those who have had unsucessful laser, due to insufficient colour or density of the hair. Many have already spent a fortune, to no avail. I like your guesstimate system, Michael.

I wish I could get “Chris” to come on Hairtell and tell his story about his 12 year “dance” with laser (spent almost $20K and said he “tried them all.”)

Of course, I’m not saying laser does not work … can’t be “politically incorrect,” as I’ve learned. YES! Laser DOES work … if you have the correct set of conditions. (Is that enough?)

(Christine: I see you are interested in astrology. I’m a “triple Gemini.” Yikes, that would explain it wouldn’t it!)

In that case would you think laser would also fail on me or not produce effective results?

My thoughts are maybe better just to spend the money properly at a decent electrolysis clinic and relax in the knowledge that once done its done for ever. No worries about touch ups, laser failing etc.

Bear in mind I used to spend until about 6 months ago about £300 ($475) a year getting my back waxed once a month.
