Costs?

I was just wondering about how much electrolysis would cost for a large area, such as back or arms for a male. Also how many visits does a person typically need to make for a full treatment? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

do you have fine hair on those areas? is that why you are considering electrolysis?

it’s impossible to give you a number, especially without at least a picture. we would need an estimate of how many hairs there are.

You can try calculating it yourself too. Average cost is around $60-70 per hour and if you use the fastest method, on average, you can remove 5-8 hairs per minute. Then, take into account that each hair will need on average 2-3 zaps and what you see at any point is about 30% of all the hair that you actually have. The rest is dormant. So large area will take a while.

I don’t consider the back of the arms on a male a large area. Answering your other questions would depend on a couple of things: someone would have to actually see you to size up how much hair you have and as you probably know by reading hairtell, some electrologists have good deadly speed and some are slow but deadly. Cost and time questions depend on many things related to your unique circumstances. As an electrologist, I can only convey to you what I can do and I do not consider any area too large for electrolysis as long as I have a client that cooperates and sticks close to me with a plan specific for their area of concern.
