I tried searching for a definition of the types of electrolysis that people talk about on the website. Galvanic, Thermoflash, picoflash? Can someone point me in the right direction on what the differences are?
Thanks
Johnny

MicroFlash (1/1,000 of a second) and PicoFlash (1/10,000 of a second) are faster forms of thermolysis that can only be performed on computerized epilators, with PicoFlash only being on the new Apilus Platinum and Pure.
These faster forms of thermolysis are just as deadly to the the tissue that helps nuture hair as the older forms of elctrolysis, except that hair can be removed faster. When that happens, hope and happiness rises for the hairy depressed. Accurate insertions are utterly essential with micro and pico, whereas, if insertions are are off a little with the other kinds of electrolysis, well, a margin of error is allowed.
These faster forms of electrolysis is very helpful for time to completion, skin condition and sensation when performed expertly. In my opinion, micro and pico are simply many steps above the slower kinds of electrolysis (blend, galvanic and manual thermolysis), but ALL KINDS OF ELECTROLYSIS WORK. I rely on picoflash 95% of the time, but will shift to blend for some situations.
