Does the age of an epilator matter?

Does the age of an epilator matter? I have been getting electrolysis done by someone whos machine looks like it’s ancient. She been doing electrolysis for 25 years and it looks like she had her machines since she started. It’s a bunch of dials and knobs not computerized. But other than that everything seems to be going fine with who I’m seeing, I was just curious.

Although her machine is ancient, it does not mean you are not getting quality, permanent hair removal. Given her experience she has been using that equipment forever and really knows how to do the best possible job with it. If you are happy with her and she is doing good work, there is no reason to change.

Still, it would be advantageous for her and her clients to upgrade her equipment. Better equipment can help make a very good electrologist a great electrologist. Newer equipment can allow for greater speed (depending on modality), less pain and less wear on the skin.
