ok, Hello, I am a sixteen year old boy, Australian, Caucassion and just have a few questions about electrolysis, first being this. I was planning to get electrolysis on my legs as I am currently not happy with there physcial appearance and was wondering if I only have the first cycle, will hair grow back. I have herd that there is no garentue that hair will grow back, and it distresses me as I actually want some hair, just not as much as I currently have. I am aiming for reduction more then clearance.

second question would be, whats the estimated time needed for this procedure?

  • Legs tend to have coarse growth, so if the hair is dark, laser would be a faster and cheaper alternative. You’ll need 3-4 treatments spaced 12-16 weeks apart for a good reduction.

  • You’re only 16. You will be developing hair into your late 20s. You may also decide you want some of this hair back later. I would recommend you buy a trimmer for now and play around with various looks to decide what you like best first.
