I would like to ask a question. Obviously in internet we can read a lot of false informations about hair remover, mainly about electrolysis. Thanks to this wonderful forum, I learned precious informations about electrolysis, giving me hope for the future.
Here, I would like to know, is it true, that electrolysis can reduces sweating in the treated area ?
You will still sweat after successful electrolysis treatment as there are millions of sweat glands in your skin still functioning after the hair is gone, which is good, as this helps the body regulate temperature.
dfahey, I just wanted to reduce sweating in some areas. I know that it is impossible to destroy all of sweat glands, but you know what I mean, when it is hot, I would like to reduce sweating in the back area for exemple.
Perhaps, it will help, but will it be that much of a difference to notice?
I know it made a difference with my underarms, if that gives you any consolation, but I didn’t have hair removed there to reduce the sweat. It’s a nice perk, but I wanted a smoother, clean look. That was my goal. How much hair do you have on your back? Is it just your upper back?
There are two types of sweating, body cooling sweating, which you don’t want to disable, and excretory sweating, which is a symptom of a greater problem.
If you have the latter, a body cleanse and a diet high in green vegetables, and lots of pure water and fresh juices can end your suffering. There are also many favorable side effects to such a program, like lots of lean mass, and reduced body fat. The body uses fat to store toxins that it can’t purge from the body due to inefficient exit avenues due to lack of proper hydration, dietary fiber, and so on.
@dfahey : firstable I want to clean and smooth my back. So far I have a lot of fuzzy hair and some in some parts is very visible, it is quite embarrassing. (normally, Josefa will help me)
I have hair on my whole body infortunatly. My goal is reducing the most part and if it is possible, becoming glabrous.
@James : I don’t eat meat, I am vegetarian. I drink almost 2 litres of water per day, and I am pretty thin. The problem is, when the temperature became warm, I sweat in the back, the bottom, the leg. But not as much in the underarms. This is why, I would like to know if electrolysis could help me for reducing the sweat in this areas.
