Electrolysis on eyebrows ?

Hi there,

I have been doing electrolysis on facial hair since March this year. At my last appointment I got some hairs removed from above my eyebrows that had joined with my hair line. The pain however was really, really bad - worse than upper lip, cheeks, chin, neck. Now, 3 days later I still have some mild swelling above my eyebrows and a few scabs. It just feels so red and puffy and a bit numb to touch. I was wondering if there is a reason this area is so delicate or have I had a bad reaction? I really want to persist with it but am scared of damaging the skin

Thanks

Swelling is always more noticeable where the flesh is thinner: “tight skin over bone.” Pretty simple really. There is no place for the swelling to go except “up.” Consider the nice dense flesh, skin, fat and internal organs on your tummy … a little swelling is seldom noticed. On your forehead? Well, there you have your answer.

And scabs? Dear, I’m not reciting the infinitely recited “scab mantra,” but it will be coming …
