I tend to get one or 2 spots after treatment. They are definitely follicular infections as opposed to zits because I need to get them extracted. Lately I developed an area of more of them after my last treatment. I am going to my derm tomorrow, maybe get on antibiotics and some topicals. Anyone else deal with this. How did you alleviate this post treatment. I was told to use witch hazel and calamine lotion after treatment so I am trying that after my next treatment. Any inputs are appreciated!!!
The point of using Tea Tree Oil over night the first 3 to 7 days after treatment is to make sure that all necrotic tissue is dissolved, and the body heals up fast, and infections are avoided.
Aloe Vera during the day helps the skin heal faster as well, and so one builds new healthy skin.
Maybe you should give it a try. You can buy both at any health food store, and get good stuff. The aloe should be 100% aloe vera, and require refrigeration after opening. The Tea Tree Oil should be in a dark bottle, as it is prone to weakening from light exposure. I like Now brand, as they even give you a nice drip dispenser in the bottle that makes it easy to shake out a tiny drop and not waste the product, and avoid contamination of it as well.
