icy hot feeling

A lot of recent work has been concentrated on my upper lip area. I’m doing micro-flash thermolysis and lately hours after the treatment, up to a week after the treatment, I feel kind of an icy hot feeling on my upper lip at times. We only work 15 minutes at the most on this area during a session. Has anyone run into this problem and how did you treat it? Visually the area looks OK.

Thanks, Angie

hi angie
i feel that way on my legs (i’m doing thighs). and basically i just use tea tree oil which gives it like a little bit of cooling effect. of course aloe vera gel does that too. if you decide to use tea tree oil make sure that you do not use it full force on your face and rather dilute it with something.

Please keep in mind that a little dab of tree tea oil is all one needs. Don’t go overboard, fellas. I love tree tea oil and so do my clients, but use it correctly if you don’t want another problem.

Fellas? I beg your pardon?

I’m sorry if I offended you. I say this quite frequently to everyone, male and female. Just a generic expression.

Love,
Dee

Apology accepted. Hope you have a great day!

Reminds me of the scene in TransAmerica where the kid (who calls everyone “Dude” and doesn’t know the lady’s secret yet) walks out of the room, and Felicity Huffman’s character mumbles, “I wish you would stop calling me Dude!”

PS, That feeling you are experienceing is just one of the sensations of healing.

That’s all from me, fella’s. Catch you later.

Angie, thanks for accepting my apology. I happen to recall a post I made on another forum responding to two electrologists I was in a discussion with. I have deleted the body of the post, but wanted to prove to you how I mean no harm or special intent by what I said. I actually didn’t even notice the posters, (you and rani) when I responded, but rather was focused on the tea tree oil information.

Just wanted to expand a little bit more.

Thanks,

Dee

np  Forgotten.

Btw, thank you for the tea tree oil suggestion. I appreciate your feedback about my concern.

xo,
Angie
