I don’t want to be laughed at or thought of as gross. I also fear the technicians telling people about how hairy I am. I feel like I’m the only woman that is this hairy. I have to have hair removed from my chin, jaw line, stomach, and chest.
This doesn’t happen, so fear not!
Having hair removed from the areas you mentioned is very, very commonplace. My second client today had me work on her chin, upper lip, underlip and nipple areas today. We start her side burns next week. There are more areas she wants done. Most electrologists do multi areas as a rule. That’s the way this works well and speeds things along.
Come on cinnamon. You can do this. I know you have been thinking about this for a long time.

Hi Cinnamon:
The electrologists won’t laugh at you, and more
than likely will be very sympathetic to how you feel.
The majority of their clients are women with hair problems.
Lots of women have them, and go to electrologists but
they usually keep the fact a secret from friends,
probably for the same reasons you do.
They won’t talk to other people about you, or laugh.
In fact they will be very understanding and want to help.

Start making phone calls. I think you will be able to tell just from the phone conversations that electrologists are extremely sensitive to their clients’ feelings.
The electrologists you will see see situations like yours and much worse on an everyday basis. Really, treat it as a doctor’s appt. They have seen everything and it doesn’t phase them at all. In fact, most are very understanding and will make you feel better.
