So, here i am, to report yet another weird one from sunny Phoenix. I was cleaning my jewelry box today, and i came accross business card that i got from my first electrologist from the unhappy times, while i was doing business with Marias place which is Arizona Laser. What cought my eye is the fact that my electrologist stated on her card that shes a "licensed electrologist". That made me go "hmmm",and i immediately went to arizonalaser.com which is Marias web site.
I went to “About us” page which lists Maria de Nicola first, and it made me go “HMMMMMMMM” yet again. Here she has listed that shes a graduate of Arizona State school of Electrology. As someone who is going to school as of now, i know for a fact that Arizona has no school of electrology, and closes two are in California and Nevada. If we had one, why would i complicate my life to this extent where i need to leave my family for a few weeks and live in California while attending school? So i went on the web and did a search on such school in Arizona, which took me to yet weirder place : Boston school of electrolysis (Home of Kimberly) Her i found Kimberlys thoughts on this, which are quite amazingly similar to mine, only she was step ahead of me, and she has a letter of comfirmation from some big shot posted on-line, in which clearly states that there is NO such school in our state. So, weird as it may sound, i think this is first time where i can actualy agree with Kimberly. When i add on top the fact that i was going for my appointments regularly every week for eight months, and had ZERO results on my upper lip (not even a clearance), it makes for a “difficult to swallow” combination.
And i have to mention this otherwise some people might take this wrong. Marias place offers galvanic treatment, and from my studies so far, i understand that, when done properly, galavanic is most effective method even though its most slowest one as well. Slow or not, in eight months, there was supposed to be a some kind of result on my upper lip, and since there wasn`t, i can only blame the skill.
So for everyone looking for refferal, i hope you come accross this. This is just a rant of a 34 year old woman with very limited ammount of moneys, looking for a quick results, and competent and honest (emphasis on HONEST) electrologist.
So far, best i can recommend is Ruth Ann Cruz, wonderful, sweet, cheerful, quick, skilled, and affordable as well. Even though i have no clue what school she attended
If someone has something to share that maybe can shine a light on my thoughts, i welcome it.
DO you think the Arizona School of Electrolgy existed when Maria and others were trained and then closed? That has happened to several schools in Ohio over the past 30 years. If no one picks up the baton to start a new school, then some states are left with nothing.
Ask Ruth Ann about this. I bet she knows what gives.
That might be very well the case. I kinda edited my post a bit and here`s why:
Contrary to everything that happened to me with my electrologist at Marias, ive heard that Maria herself is very good at what she does, very sincere with clients, as well, but i wasnt privileged to be one of her clients. As a matter of a fact, i never even met her, and i dont even know what she looked like. At one point of time i wanted to ask receptionist to switch from my electrologist to maria, but it seemed very wrong, and knowing myself i wouldnt be able to look my old electrologist in the eye after. So i just did some research and decided to opt out for thermolysis, which proved to be my little miracle. I will however ask Ruth Ann where she attended school. She doesnt talk much while shes treating you, but i hope ill manage one little question.
Since Arizona is an UNLICENSED state, it is also possible that a private, unaccredited school was using that name. If that was the case, the teaching might have been good, or bad, but the “credits” would be considered “non-transferable” and a person learning at such a place would find that he or she would have to pay to sit for school all over again if he or she moved to a licensed state.
I know this is an old post but I thought I answer the question. I am Maria DeNicola I did go to school at the Az State School of Electrolysis 27 1/2 years ago it was located at 515 W. Dunlap Ave the owner of the School was Betty Williams. She Closed her school many years ago. I graduated school under the name Maria Alonge. I don’t know why Kimberely Williams has a bone to pick with me I have never met her, she called the state boards of post secondary Education I had to prove that the school did exist. Then she posted on her site about this. Simply and honest. Done deal you would think but about once a year she gives me grief. I truly wish she would just leave me, I wish kimberley peace in her life.
Sanny, Ruth your electrologist as well as all of our electrologist are excellent.
Take Good Care,
Maria DeNicola
What you must know about the humanoid known as KW is that while other people are enjoying the holidays, and vacations with family and friends, this lonely escape from the sanitarium is spending time smearing anyone in the industry who has come to the attention of this waste of good oxygen.
I could write a book on the wild accusations KW has launched against me. Most are so outrageous as to not even merit discussion, other than to laugh at the hilariously ridiculousness what KW has said.
The Niagara Falls of vitriol that is KW doesn’t seem to have time for treating clients, as KW blows off paying customers to get back to the computer to write smear jobs on people like you and myself (we have had reports here from her unfortunate former clients).
Be of good cheer. I don’t think that anyone can read what KW writes without coming to the conclusion that KW is a total liar and unbalanced humanoid.
One good example, is this joke of a consumer watchdog posted a picture of my office and reported that it was sent by “a shy former Walker client who doesn’t want to be named.” The picture was actually cut and pasted from Google Earth! You can’t make this stuff up folks.
Maria, my sympathies to you as well. Through past private emails, client sanny, has had nothing but great comments about you and your business. Why do people try to make war with others? I don’t know who has had it worse over the years with Kimberly - Andrea or James. I haven’t read her website for a long time.
At this point, I believe I have taken the heat off of Andrea.
After all, she has never been on holiday vacation and had friends from around the country calling her asking "Who is KW and how did KW get my phone number, and why is KW calling me to trash you and try to get me in on some fight with you?
I may even have more pages and caricatures of me on KW’s website now.
It is amazing how much time and effort this unbalanced personality spends on proselytizing the world on how wonderful KW is, having achieved a credential that of KW’s own making, while criticizing those who have not paid KW for the pleasure of submitting to the KW so-called educational services.
At least I get lots of advertising out of the space. Most people who spend any real time reading get the impression that KW is a nut, and that this James W. Walker VII must be some dude if someone is putting all this effort into character assassination. I tell you, I am the JFK of character assassination by now. Watch me go back and to the left. Back and to the left
At this time, I would like to thank KW for all the customers that KW is delivering to people like me. By increasing our Web presence, we look so much better than we would otherwise. Some of us had No Web Presence at all prior to a KW hit piece.
So, as long as KW spells my name right (and learns to type my phone number as correctly as KW dials it when KW wants free advise on how to do Electrolysis correctly. I knew it was you every time K.)
