Is it ok to use thermolysis on the bikini area?

Ok. I read that only 30% of pubic hair is in growth phase, right?
But after thermolysis I was hair free for more than two months, there where only a couple of nice hairs growing during that period, and after some 9 or 10 weeks more and more hair started to appear and now they have grown back, but now when I look at the area it seems less dense. I don’t know. Is it ok if I schedule my next appointment in 10days, after New Year’s Eve or maybe I shouldn’t wait that long?
Tnank you.

I see no rush to get an appointment before January 1. All sounds just peachy. What modality of thermolysis are you getting? A type of flash or a slower kind?

One correction: “grow back” assumes that the first treatment was not effective and now it has to be repeated all over again. Instead, we talk about a new hair growth cycle clicking in, which requires another clearance. There may some regrowth of hair, but basically, we treat new groups of hair that creep up above the skins surface, weeks after the previous clearance.

Enjoy the holidays and don’t fret over hair at this peaceful time of the year.

I’m getting slower electrolysis, one hair is treated for one second.

I will see in January how many minutes will be necessary to get full clearance. I needed 160 minutes to get first clearance.

So my hair will be in growth phase in January? If I shave them and they grow back, does that mean they are in anagen phase?

how many minutes will be necessary to get full clearance

Could be about a third less than the first time but results vary. January should still be ok. I wouldn’t shave them, only if the electrologist prefers to treat anagen hair. (Ask first because some don’t!)

Anagen are a bit easier to pick after a shave because they grow faster than the rest.
