Which is the best method for hair reduction/making the hair look thinner? How much would it cost? And how long would it take?
If you are looking for the transformation of the caliber of hair, Electrolysis is not proper technique.
If you’re looking for irreversible removal of hair, Electrolysis is the safest option.
Any electrologist can guarantee getting a hair thinner than the thick hair initially treated.
The thing that you ensure all electrologist who can work well, is the total eradication of the hairs.
what if i wanted my arms to look less hairy? would electrolysis be able to maybe get rid of the darker and thicker hairs leaving the thinner finer ones and having a natural hair less look on my arms, chest, belly?
Yes, it’s easy to get what you want. You can save two thirds of the time and money would need to eliminate it entirely.
The problem is that in making the selection, the electrologist loses a bit of time. And over the years, perhaps, that the hairs that remain on your arm, not to your liking.
It is a future possibility that you have to consider
How thick is the hair on your arms? It might help to post a picture in deciding between the two methods.
It matters whether your hair is COARSE or FINE. Laser is a good option for COARSE and DENSE hair. Otherwise, you only have electrolysis as an option because laser can’t treat finer hair and it’s not a good idea to treat sparse hair with laser.
I had my arm hair epilated (not a good idea) so i will put up a pic when it grows back. I dont mind having hair on my arms but i dont want them completely hairless just the thick noticeable ones removed… by the way im a guy.Oh and if i want to get the hair on my neck and check areas permanently removed laser would do it?
and what about “Tria laser hair removal”? is that a scam or is it legit?
Scam. It is not powerful enough to permanently disable follicles, so all it does is cause the hair to shed and then regrow (results similar to waxing in both duration of hairlessness and regrowth rates). If you’re looking for temporary hair removal, then it technically works, but they wear out quickly so it is very expensive.
There is plenty of scientific info around here on why it doesn’t work, and plenty of testimonials about it not working. But I’m not just regurgitating studies or other people’s stories; I’ve used the Tria myself and it was a waste. Luckily I bought it used on ebay for $500 and sold it again on ebay for something like $550 so I wasn’t out any money, otherwise I would have been livid.
