Mag question for all the Electrologists here

Ok, I’m finding it increasingly hard to find an Electrologist with good magnification. Most haven’t heard of loupes, and those that know what they are…don’t have them. So, what magnification would you consider to be the next best?

What do our English friends call the special glasses that doctors, surgeons and dentists wear to perform for their jobs? Maybe something is being lost in translation. There are many electrologists that can remove hair and have been removing hair well for years with their set up whatever that may be. If you are having trouble with one or a few aspects of your electrolysis experience, then it could be that magnification and lighting are not adequate, thus, the reason we bring it up here so many times.

Many seem to use that circular flourescent light along with some kind of specs that cost well under what a customized pair of surgical loupes would cost. I started out with this setup and gradually discovered I needed more vision help. I don’t regret paying for something a lot better.
