So I’ve decided to start posting my ‘journey’ of hair removal since I’m sure there are other males who are thinking of removing the areas that I am but unfortunately there is not a whole lot of posts from individuals who are actively or have done electrolysis.
I’m a 25 y/o guy with really dense hair on shoulders, upper arms and back. I had laser done 3 years ago (dont know which laser) in these areas as well as the upper chest. There was really no sigificant reduction even though i did shed post treatments. THe only area that did see some improvemnt was the upper chest.
So its been 3 years and I figured i’d give electrolysis a go. Im from Toronto, and a female freind of mine did electrolysis on her eye brows and was completely clear in the areas she wanted removed in about a year with no adverse side effects. I thought i’d check her electrolgist out but she is currently not taking any clients at this time She also does LHR there as well which distrubs me a bit since i wud think that an electrologist would know that electroysis is the only proven method of hair removal…but i’ve heard good things about her nonetheless.
Thid led me to this website where I found our trusted James Walker. I decided to travel 2.5 hours each way exactly 35 days ago to get a 6 hour treatment where we treated both my upper arms and the front shoulders using thermolysis. Being south asian, i still have some hyperpigmentation but it is going away slowly. James’ service was excellent and im sure he needs no endorsment here but I’d definitely recommened him. Upper arm hair has grown back but i do see a difference in density of the shoulders I know I need to keep up with a tight schedule but unfortunately my car is a lemon and the muffler fell off on the way back home that day which really ticked me off LOL. And theres now a whole list of problems with my car now stopping me temporarily to go to Buffalo. If only James was closer!.haha. I obviously wish I could find someone nearby my home who is competent but like i said shes not takin in clients and driving to Buffalo is crazy and theres a lot of maniac drivers in Ontario. I almost got into 3 accidents on the highway on the way home. So until i get my car fixed or the lady close by can accomodate me I’ll have to wait. It mite be a while til the next post but I will keep updated.
Cheers
