Ohio Electrolysis Question

Hi, I’m a male college student in the Akron/Canton area. I’m mainly interested in reducing hair on my upper cheek, lower neck area to reduce shaving time and also clearing hair around collar area and maybe some sparse ones on my shoulders. I was wondering if anyone (especially dfahey) has some knowledge about a skilled and reliable electrolysis practitioner in Akron or Canton I would much appreciate it. Also, to dfahey (because your private message is maxed out) if you have openings in your schedule I’d be fine with driving down to Columbus since you seem like a very experienced CPE.

Cheers,

Dan

Dan86, I do happen to know of someone in Ravenna, Ohio near Kent.

She uses an Apilus and works out of her home. She actually trained with me several years ago. Her name is:

Karen Urcheck,C.T.

330-673-8023

Just a small correction: I am not a CPE, but rather I am licensed through the state medical board of Ohio as a registered nurse as well as an electrologist, meaning, I had to take separate two separate state board examinations and I need to get separate continuing education courses totaling 50 hours every two years to keep my RN license and electrologist license’s active. My electrologist initials are C.T. meaning cosmetic therapist. Whoever had the power at the time to choose those initials for Ohio electrologists, well, let’s just say,it’s not what I would have chosen. I may desire to take the CPE exam someday through the American Electrology Association, but I don’t have to do that if I don’t want to, as I’m all set and well credentialled.

I would call Karen. She is very, very nice person and offers a wonderful service. I believe she would be about 20 minutes away or at most 45 minutes from where you live.

It would be my pleasure to see you, but I firmly believe it is in your benefit to try someone close to home because electrolysis is a serious commitment for a series of treatments and most people need convenience and some kind of simplicity in their lives. Traveling can be complicated and expensive.

I see that there is also an electrologist listed in the AEA roster in Canton > Linda Rae Cappillo, 330-478-8140. I don’t know Linda, but you can also get a consult from her as well and see how it goes for you. I hope to network more as the schedule for 2007-2009 continuing education courses are released for Ohio electrologists. Maybe I’ll get to learn about other electrologists for future references and be more helpful to people like you.

Sorry about the mailbox situation. I’ll get that sorted out in the next couple days. thanks for telling me about that.
