Hello everybody.
Thanks for the understanding if my english is not good enough, as I am not a native speaker.
I would like to share with you my worry about something that I experience since I started electrolysis.
What happens to me is that I get electrified whenever I touch a metallic thing, an electrical device or even another person. Sometimes it may even happen 10-20 times per day.
Do you think it could be associated to the treatment?
Sounds like you are talking about a build up of static electricity. That would not have anything to do with the electrolysis, just the humidity and electrical ions in your surroundings. If your electrolysis office or your home or your city, reach a humidity of less than 30% static shocks can occur.
Hello Reina,
It sounds like you are talking about getting “shocked” throughout the day - and not at the treatment, right?
I’m sure that it is static electricity and nothing to do with the electrology treatments. Dryness contributes to this. In the winter I get shocked big time by my car and by my sweetie! Now, he’s an electrician, and I’m an electrologist but it has nothing to do with that!!!
i ALWAYS shock people and get shocked by things… especially my car door!
hehe.
Some cars are more prone to this than others (like Doge Neons) One has to learn a safe procedure for exiting the car. You sit in the driver’s position, Open the car door without turning your legs. You then, place your hand on the outside of the car, either the roof, or the side of the vehicle, and then swing your legs out of the car, and exit without removing your hand from the car until your feet are touching the ground, and no other part of your body but your hand is in contact with the car. This grounds your static electricity back into the car, and avoids the arcing that causes the shock. Depending on how bad the charge is, you may have to close the door while maintaining unbroken contact with the car with the hand you started with when you got out of the vehicle.
Once the door is closed, you can finally take your hand off the roof, or side of the car.
fantastic advice. i will let you know how it works out for me :]
