Thermolysis and Breast Development?

I am new to professional Electrolysis and I am wondering if any others out there have had the same effect. I have a female client who happened to have a lot of hair on her chest. Thermolysis was found to provide the best hair removal modality, and now after just a couple of months, her breasts are getting fuller, which she is glad for, but I am wondering if there is any correlation between the two events.
I would like to hear others views on this topic.

If this were true, what a business boom we electrologists would have and all the plastic surgeons would just hate us.

Has she gained weight over the past couple months or has she started birth control pills?

I can’t submit any scientific realities that would cause this to happen.

I do a lot of women with chest and nipple hair, and some men as well, and no one has observed their breasts getting fuller.

If your advise to drink more water, eat well and get enough sleep in order to make the treatments more comfortable have been heeded, she could have this result from her body flushing toxins, and no longer burning her proteins, but using them to actually build muscle tissue. In women, one of the first things to inflate, or deflate are the breasts. One can tell much about the health of a woman with careful study of her breasts.

i would also have to ask how old she is. if she’s young enough, teens or 20s, it might be a coincidence. in addition to reasons provided above, it might have been around her period time when she noticed

James, you cad! I am certain that you are very knowledgeable about the health of many clients, eh? Nonetheless, I have started electrolysis for my brazilian, just as a case study for the guys (a little inflation would be welcome!).

She is in her 60’s and weight has been stable during this entire time.

hmm, sagging? menopause?

Is she taking any kind of herbal medication (Fenugreek, Saw Palmetto) or is she eating wild yams spiced with cumin?

Did she sneak in some silicone surgery while you were on vacation? (smile)

Do you actually notice enlargement? If you do, you’re really good. Personally, I can’t remember what one woman looks like from another, since I’m so focused on getting the hair cleared.

Actually, working with a stereo scope, one’s vision is reduced to 2 or 3 square inches of space. Hardly enough to know much at all about a woman’s breast, but, often more than enough space for male parts

Yes, my client is on Hormonal Replace Therapy and has been for many years. I cam upon this question because my client mentioned it to me, and I could not think of a reason, except that maybe the electrolysis is stimulating the breasts.
It is correct that with loupes the vision is very reduced and personally I am looking for hairs and not breast development, but when my client brought up the subject, I was unsure if electrolysis could somehow have an effect.

You know, now you have me thinking about involuntary neural triggering. Like a TEMS machine works on a skeletal muscle. I’m thinking about stimulation triggering a glandular secretion response that’s been pushed along by the HRT. Well, you’ll know soon enough I guess.

In all seriousness, there is a certain amount of muscle tightening that comes from the circulating currents of blend, and auto sensor mode in thermolysis. As a woman’s breast gains natural muscle tone (as opposed to steroid induced muscle) the breast lifts at the muscles develope, and they at least stand up higher and look more rounded. Now I would not think that electrolysis alone would make a noticeable difference, but, hey, you never know.

i would think hormone replacement therapy would have a LOT more to do with this than electrolysis considering hormones stimulate things like breast growth…

That might seem to be the case, except why has not that effect taken place sooner, as this individual has been on HRT for almost a decade. Something must have triggered something in order to get this reaction happening now.

I am using the autosense mode on my apilus epilator, and performing Cataphoresis after each appointment. Patient is very sensitive to pain, and requires a longer time than most to recover from treatments. Hairs are very deep, greater than 1/4 inch, and using Pro-Tec insulated blend probes for her treatment. However, like everyone says, I do not believe it is just the electrolysis alone that is causing the development, if indeed that is truly happening, but figure something triggered the estrogen to maybe become more effective or concentrated in the breast area.

I don’t know how long your treatments are, but you should know that when you use autosensor mode, there is an electric current running through the client throughout the duration of the treatment, and that is similar to a TENS Unit used in electrical therapy and those muscle contraction machines.

Actually, the current can only flow when both the probe and the ground rod somehow have a current path. It is a very low level direct current that is needed to check resistance. Yes, I consider Electronics one of my strong subjects, having worked in that industry for over 3 decades.
My client tries to come in twice a week for 2 hour appointments, but she is very sensitive, and often has to stop before the 2 hours is up. There have been times when weather has caused cancellation of appointments, adding up her times; she has completed about 20 hours of electrolysis by myself. She has also had Full Body Laser performed previously, as well as electrolysis on other body areas by other electrologists.
She is also just returning to work, and feels that her back is also getting stronger from her having to work. So it is possible that it is also just a side effect from general muscle improvement. As she got her new job, just shortly after starting treatment with myself. Now that I think about it, that is probably the more likely cause of her apparent development.
In all likelihood, it looks like her having a job is helping more than just bringing in an income.

And now if we could just get her to eat better, drink her water, give up caffeine, and if applicable nicotine, she would even fall asleep on your table.

Now,those words are very true. When a client is jumpy and seems to be having a harder session, we usually can pinpoint why: drinking the night before, 6 cups of coffee consumed by the time they reach my office, been in the car all day traveling for a job - no water. It is true, when these variables are cast away, they can usually fade off into a different zone and actually enjoy electrolysis.

I have to search this out, but I love playing this song from the TV series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. It puts me in a mellow, sleepy zone if I’m not careful, but it is a wonderful calmer downer type song for the client. I’ll be back later, as I need to call one of my kids and ask them the name of the song as I’m having a brain freeze right now. It’s really a pretty song. I’ll be back.

hmph. i’ve had all the hairs on my nipples removed by thermolysis (stubborn little bastages but i got 'em all).

and my mangazongas haven’t changed one bit … they’re as droopy as ever.

lol.
