Thinking about Electrolysis

Hey guys,

I am a 19 year old male. Basically, when I was younger, I shaved my face. The problem is I shaved MY ENTIRE FACE, ie; I shaved right up to my eye socket, not only this, I also shaved my whole nose aswell meaning the sides and top of nose. This now means that I have stubble growing ALL OVER my face and on my nose aswell. As you can imagine, this is really embarrassing and as soon as I noticed this, I stopped going out, I didn’t speak to anyome, I just shut myself in my room. The hair is very short and stubbly and look like blackheads but they are thick, coarse and short hair.

The problem is, I don’t have enough money for Electrolysis and I am embarrassed about going to my local electrologist in fear of someone finding out what I am doing.

I would appreciate someone explaining the process of electrolysis, also, what is the average time for clearance of hair from the entire area above my beard line?

If you think it is really bad, I would recommend to go to a psychiatrist and explain to him/her the situation how is the hair influencing your everyday life - there is maybe a small chance that you could get payed some electrolysis hours from the insurance.

And you need to find a experienced electrologist - not the first one near you. Often it is much cheaper in the long run to make a long trip.

We can’t make time predications because we can’t see you and even if we could see you, it would be useless because there are too many variables, both human and non-human, that define your particular needs. Hair is unique for each of us. The general parameters we make are predictions that it takes 9-18 months to get “finished”. Some people really are finished within that time frame, but others have such a hormonal environment and genetic characteristics that time declarations are not very accurate. I dont know what your situation is like.

If you don’t have money, then you need to do temporary methods until have money to pay for electrolysis or laser. As good hearted as people are, they are not going to work for free. It has nothing to do with greed. Our fruited labor and services we provide have value. I hear from people all the time that they don’t have enough money for electrolysis to which I respond, “What is your creative plan to get your financial part together?”
