waxing or lazer?

hello,

i’ve been waxing for years now…but each time it turns out that when my hair seems to be comin back on…i get this horrible rash like my skin is not smooth…and i’ve had ppl say that if they brush against my skin like my arm they notice… n even my legs have this dotted look when my hair is bout to come back…i dont know what to do? i wanna get a lazer done like for body hair but its expensive right? and i have a lot of body hair !! can u get ur private parts done too with lazer?

Of course you can get your genital area done. It is going to hurt a little bit though. I’ve never had my genital area done, but I can only imagine. You are going to get some irritation after laser as well, just like in waxing. Some peoples skin reacts differently so you might want to try out a test patch for free if you can and see how you like the irritation. Most people find the irritation of laser to be pretty light and bareable. Most people say the best lasers on the market are the Lightsheer and the Candela Gentlelase.
Price is totally subjective to the are and the tech so nobody is really going to be able to answer that but on a man, if one were to get their chest and abs done with the lightsheer he should expect to pay about 600-700 dollars anyway.

please read the laser portion of this forum for more information. if your hair is dark and coarse, laser should work very well. bikini is one of the areas that responds best because the hair is more coarse. you might have a bit of redness for up to a day or so, but then all hair sheds within 2-3 weeks and you have a hairfree period. If you have light skin and dark coarse hair, laser is a really good option and not that expensive. if you want just the area around a thong done for example, it would run you about $100-150 per treatment and you will need 6-8. So, that’s under $1K for permanent hair removal unlike continuous waxing.
