What do you think about my progress?

Hi all,

I have been getting electrolysis every few weeks for the last 5 months. I’ve had somewhere around 8 treatments.

I have coarse, dark hair on my chin and nipple area. I probably have around 30 hairs on each nipple, and 40 on my chin. My treatment sessions have been 30 minutes to treat all three areas.

Anyway, after about 5 sessions on my chin, the hairs stopped growing in. I was thrilled! The last few sessions we didn’t treat the chin at all because there was nothing there. But now, after about 2 months of being nearly hair-free, many of the hairs are now growing again. A lot of them. Is this typical as far as results? Is there a period where hair growh slows down, before it stops completely?

The hairs around my nipples, sadly, are proving much more stubborn. I can’t say I’ve noticed much, if any, reduction there yet, which is very disappointing to me.

Again, I’ve only been getting electrolysis for about 5 months so far, and I’ve had between 7-9 sessions. I am going to a reputable clinic and my technician seems good (hairs slide out easily) but I don’t have a basis of comparison since she’s the only one I’ve seen. Also, we are using aggressive settings.

Any input you all have on when it is normal to start seeing results would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

i think so your chin is growing new hairs because its quite unusal that you get regrowth after 2-3 months.I am not an expert…experts here will tell better.post a pic of your chin current state so experts can help and guide you.

It takes about 9 months to treat every single facial hair, as many can be in a resting stage. What you are seeing are hairs, that have not been previously treated. For body hairs,it takes about one year, for every hair to surface. Everything sounds great here, all that remains is for you to complete your treatment.

Thank you both!
