hi guys, i went to have some thermolysis done on my lower back, and it hurt SO much and would make my leg twitch, then i tried it when i used EMLA and it still hurt so much , im prety upset as i really want to get rid of the hair, but it hurts to much even with emla, is there somthing else that i might be able to do
Are you near Christine O’Connell? She has an Apilus Platinum. PicoFlash thermolysis would be very helpful for you. Taking something like Advil 1 hour before may be helpful as well.
ADvil doesnt do shit, go to a naturapathic store or any place that sells herbs and pick up some valerian root. I’m doing my entire back on the highest level and this stuff lets my mind keep calm which reduces the pain. Dont over do it with this stuff cause its addictive natures own valium. oh and take it easy on the exercise after cause its a muscle relaxant as well.
no im not near Christine O’Connell, but im giong to a lady she recommended so i know im in good hands. I took 2 ibrufen tablets before my session, it srsly felt like my nerves where hurting i dont know how to explain, my stomach hurts too but doenst make my leg twitch, im really upset as i want to clear this area but now i dont think ill be able to
Hello there, with Emla did you apply it an hour beforehand and wrap yourself up with glad wrap? It helps the absorption.
After 8 months of various treatments I finally had that Emla application done to me last week and it makes a BIG difference. Beforehand with multiprobe galvanic on my tummy it was unbearable. But now with that preparation method I usually don’t feel the insertions (that was unbearable before) though I ocassionally do feel the later burning current for about 10 seconds (the probes are in for 5+ minutes)
Though with blend or thermo that is not an issue. The zap is very short.
Sounds like a good tip with the valerian above. I find the more relaxed I am all over the better I can cope. Also the more I am conversing the better. If I’m ranting passionately about a subject it’s great! Time flies by!
hahaha yer yapping away would distract you, well when i put the emla on my electrolgist said it should work in only 20 min, so maybe il try it again and apply the emla for an hour i really really hope that works!
My laser tech always says 20 minutes is enough too. It’s not correct. I need an hour minimum before I go numb, and without occlusion (plastic wrap) it only works partially for me.
ok its settled, im going to try it again next time but apply the emla for an hour with cling wrap! fingers crossed it will work
I noticed a BIG difference! And wish I’d done it right like this - applied an hour earlier with the plastic wrap - right from the start of my treatments 8 months ago. The numbing effect does wear off over the hour after you take the wrap off.
I found and have read that the lower back (and the inner ribs area of the mid back) is one of the most sensitive areas.
oh good, i just hope i dont get my hopes up, and i dont doubt you on that area being the most sensitive, even thikning about it is making me cringe.i just really want to clear the area before our summer starts here
